Hello Madame B!

It was a pleasure meeting you and Choklate this past Wednesday at Santo. I hope to make it out there again this Wednesday. I would love to come out to some of your other events... especially the spoken word. And I love the fact that you are based here in Miami.

I am new to the whole Miami music scene and quite frankly I wasn't sure if there was a scene I could vibe with that was a little more real than the front that South Beach is so notorious for, but meeting people like you and Choklate is very inspiring to me. I have a music page if you ever get time to check out, the link is in my top friends.(www.myspace.com/stellagroove) It's a project in the works but hey, we all gotta start from somewhere. I have been building a recording studio in my home and am more than half way there so soon I should be able to have more of my own material. I've been performing with a lot of cover bands lately, honestly because it has gotten the bills paid and it's helped me gain much needed experience but my dream has always been to sing where people appreciate what I can put on the table. I know my stage is out there somewhere.

So hopefully I will see you this Wednesday. In the meantime many blessings.

ok so I'm late! but better late than never. right;-) feb. 13 was an amazing night. New space but it was truly all about a love experience w/ Sunni Patterson and Anthony David.
SunniP as always made me want to sit indian style infront of the stagelol her poems are always in 3D You gotta love Sunni!
Anthony David and his guitar made me feel like i was at home with the cd on. Its rare when a voice carries from the studio to live. But when it does, you know you've been in the midst of a true singer. One time for the electric relaxation breakdown. Folks singing along. so niiicceee.

I have a younger sister (15 yrs.) who has been exposed to Def Jam Poetry by her highschool english teacher and has just discovered the poet in herself. My, My, My Bohemia Room was just AMAZINGLY FAMILY LIKE LAST NIGHT. On some real "move the couch out the way, roll back the rug and look at what the nieces and nephews can do" type stuff.
